Description
Role
The purpose of the Team Lead position is to assist in the day-to-day operations and ensure all plant policies and procedures are being followed. It will also be their responsibility to ensure products are manufactured on time and within quality standards and cost.
Responsibilities
· Assist with onboarding and training employees.
· Know and understand all paperwork including but not limited to: Labor, Batch, Proof, Metal Detection, Tankers, Changeovers, etc.
· Understands staffing guidelines per line per product.
· Organizes Team Members for work assignments; set up and ongoing through shift.
· Assist and lead set up and change-over of production lines including paperwork and check sheets.
· Inspect all products coming on to the production floor for correct material.
· Order raw material in a timely manner for all production lines
· Track raw material needed for each product run.
· Track consumed raw material on each production line.
· Direct a team to achieve orders daily 80% or higher (schedule adherence)
· Complete daily paperwork review prior, checking for errors and incomplete areas.
· Understand and complete EOS (End of Shift) paperwork.
· Able to fill in for any position needed.
· Back-up to Production Supervisor

· Able to read, write and understand English
· HACCP certified
· Ability to follow company Policies and Procedures
· Must understand GMP and SQF policies
· Ability to operate a pallet jack
Requirements
Education & Training Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Work Experience Requirements
· 2+ year in a production facility
· Leadership or supervision skills preferred
Physical Demands and Work Environment
· Ability to stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push, and pull items weighing 40 pounds or less for up to 12 hours per day
· Exposure to variation in temperature
· Working with uncooked, cooked, frozen products or a combination of any product or raw materials.
