Sales & Business Development Manager Eastern Europe

You are responsible for the acquisitions of potential projects and subsystems for the Railway Industry. This includes new opportunities, identifications, introduction of our products and solutions to the customers, challenging technical advice to the customers, the selling of our products as well as commercial negotiations and the ongoing support of the good relations with new and long-term established customers as well. Projects you handle by starting with price calculations and coordination of technical concepts together with our internal teams to finally establish tailor-made contracts for the customers. You help to develop the strategical focus in the specific markets and thereafter also take the responsibility to fulfil the yearly sales budget for these markets. On top of that you act as a market specialist for all business cases between the customer and our company. The travelling frequency is approximately 50%
The main responsibilities associated with this important role are:
- Searching for new opportunities and technical sales, i.e. acquisition and promotion of the entire HaslerRail product portfolio in the Eastern European market
- Relationship management and further improve of the relationship between HaslerRail and its customers as well as partners in the region
- Create a transparency for the region, regarding market development, customers and competitors
- Create offers, attaching to the HaslerRail Bid Process and contract negotiations
- Preparation of battle plan for the region
- Supports the cash collection for the customers of the region
- Support the Director of Sales & Marketing regarding budget and strategy whenever needed and the project manager and its team during the overall length of the sold project
- You are responsible for the communication with the customers, the principal as well as with all internally involved counterparts in charge
Requirements
- University education - engineering degree (preferably electrical/electronic engineering or similar)
- Has profound experience in the sales front of technically challenging industrial goods
- Has proficiency in Czech and English (other foreign language knowledge, is a benefit)
- Owns good knowledge of the railway industry and its norms and specialties
- Thinks market oriented and has a sense of teamwork
- Has a balanced personality who likes to handle this big opportunity successfully and with enthusiasm
