Position SummaryThe Senior Financial Analyst serves as a key member of the Finance team, contributing to accurate financial reporting, efficient planning processes, and data-driven decision-making. This role actively supports the monthly close process and drives insights through forecasting, analysis, and performance tracking.

Key Responsibilities·         Monitor financial performance and trends across key metrics·         Analyze significant variances and uncover root causes·         Perform balance sheet reviews and manage account reconciliations·         Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc financial analyses·         Support the month-end close process: journal entries, P&L updates, variance analysis·         Analyze actual results vs. plan and prior year; identify key business drivers·         Develop and maintain monthly reporting dashboards for leadership·         Provide actionable recommendations through variance and performance analysis·         Maintain rolling projection models across cost centers and expense lines·         Support budget and forecasting processes (bi-annual cycles)·         Assist with internal and external audit data requests·         Conduct ad hoc analyses to support executive decision-making

Qualifications·         Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, MBA, or a related field preferred·         CPA license a plus·         3+ years of public accounting experience·         3+ years of experience in a finance or accounting role in industry·         Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, modeling, VLOOKUPs, etc.)·         Proficiency in PowerPoint for executive-ready presentations·         Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Intacct, or Oracle Financials·         Familiarity with SQL, Power BI, or Tableau is a strong plus·         Experience with financial tools such as Hyperion and Datarails·         Strong analytical and problem-solving skills·         Excellent verbal and written communication·         Ability to collaborate across functions and influence stakeholders·         Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and meeting tight deadlines
