Graham-Rogers is seeking a PL Underwriter Assistant to join our team in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.

Under the direct supervision of the Standard Lines Manager or the Office Leader. The Assistant Underwriter’s task is to provide assistance to retail agents, processors, and other underwriters as needed and necessary in a timely, efficient and accurate turnaround time and other duties as requested by the Standard Lines Manager.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

    • Reviews & completes all company correspondence/request as needed. 

    • Reviews accuracy of internal transactions processed.

    • Delivers policy documents and notices to agents.

    • Contact Insurance Carriers for specific risk exceptions/approvals.

    • Respond promptly to voicemails and emails to maintain high level of service.

    • Aids retail agents/mortgagees for policy/billing inquiries.

    • Build & maintains working relationship with retail agents.

    • Properly documenting & suspensing of internal files.

    • Follow Insurance Carriers guidelines as well as State & Federal regulations.

    • Follow through all suspense items to be in compliance with Quality Control.

    •  Attend Virtual Conference calls with Carriers & internal team meetings in facilitating learning, communication & understanding to ensure procedural guidelines are being met.

    • Perform related work as requested by management.

    • Support other members of the team when needed

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • High School or higher education

  • Obtain a P&C license within 12 months of hire.
