Job Summary:
Exciting opportunity to utilize the new MRP system within SAP to manage the procurement process, make procurement forecasts, check inventory levels, and inspect quality of incoming materials.
Essential Duties:
- Will be responsible for optimizing purchasing volumes utilizing MRP system.
- Maintain tracking and communications on order volumes and delivery schedules from suppliers.
- Prioritize the management of inventory and expiration of materials in warehouse.
- Negotiate contracts with local/specific suppliers (price, lead -time, inventory programs, etc.)
- Work with Quality Control on supplier quality and quality audits.
- Develop internal relationship and work closely with SCM to manage purchasing of raw materials and delivery dates.
- Other duties as assigned.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:
- To ensure the health and safety in the workplace and for the protection of our employee’s, wearing PPE is a requirement for some roles at PENA and may include equipment such as a full Tyvek suit, safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, face mask, bump cap, and a full hazmat suit that includes a respirator.

Qualifications: Requirements - Required and/or Preferred
Education:
- Basic/Required: BS Degree in Business or Engineering
Essential Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in SCM or Procurement, managing raw material purchasing
- Experience in working with international teams.
- Excellent computer skills (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Japanese language skill preferred
Preferred Certification(s):
- APICS, CPM certification preferred.
