The Service Crew Manager plays a critical role in keeping camp running efficiently and ensuring long-term sustainability of the island’s infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities: · Supervising & Coordinating Staff – Manage and support Service Crew and Housekeeping teams to ensure daily tasks are completed effectively.· Camper Logistics – Oversee luggage transport on and off the island on Saturdays.· Island Maintenance – Direct trash removal, lawn care, and general upkeep.· Supply & Food Delivery – Ensure timely transport of food and supplies via boat to the kitchen.· Housekeeping Oversight – Assign and monitor bathroom cleaning schedules, ensuring high-traffic areas like the Lodge and Dining Hall receive extra attention.· Project Management – Identify, plan, and oversee repairs and upkeep of island infrastructure, coordinating with maintenance teams and external contractors as needed.· Maintenance Tracking – Log and follow up on repair needs using KACE GO.· Staff Training & Safety – Ensure team members are properly trained and work safely in a dynamic, outdoor environment. Specific Responsibilities – ORGANIZATION· Support and understand relevant Action Plans and Procedures for the Shop· Knowledge and understanding about the layout and rules of the Shop CULTURE· Put people first- New and Returning Community Care (Campers, Parents, Families, Alumni, Donors, Staff, Volunteers)· Help provide an atmosphere for developing good morale and well-being among the camp community· Support our International staff & campers· Attention to detail in crafting an excellent experience in all we do SAFETY· Support Incident Report management.· Maintain and respect community boundaries for a safety These are not the only duties to be performed. • Full-Time Availability for the Camping Season Beginning 2 Saturdays before July 4 and ending Labor Day• Must be at least 21 years of age

Job Benefits
Essential Functions –• Live onsite during camp season
• Support approximately 180 campers and 60 staff 6 days per week for 10 weeks
Compensation –
• Room and Board in addition to Salary commensurate with experience.
