Responsibilities
Essential Responsibilities: - Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned data domains, acting as the liaison between business, technical, and Data & Analytics teams - Implement, monitor and maintain data governance policies and procedures, and regulatory requirements. - Monitor and enforce data quality standards across critical data domains - Perform data profiling and analysis and collaborate with data owners and technical teams to diagnose data quality issues and trends, identify root causes, and develop remediation plans. - Track and report on data quality metrics and key performance indicators - Create and maintain comprehensive data documentation including business glossaries, data dictionaries, metadata, and lineage - Assist in the development of data standards and best practices - Partner with Finance, Risk, Practice Operations, and Talent & Culture to embed data standards in practice-management, time & expense, workpaper, and CRM systems. - Support cross-functional initiatives to improve data trust, transparency, and accessibility including support of master data management initiatives and data integration projects - Support the development and delivery of data governance training programsKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
Required Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in information management, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or related field - 5-7 years of experience in data stewardship, data governance, or data quality management - Proven experience implementing data governance frameworks and policies - Proficiency in SQL, data profiling, and data visualization and reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI or similar). - Experience with data governance platforms and metadata management tools - Understanding of ETL/ELT concepts, data warehousing, and data modeling. - Strong understanding of data management principles and best practices Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in professional services, accounting, or financial services - Certification in data governance (CDMP, DGSP) or data quality highly desirable - Knowledge of GDPR/CCPA and professional-services confidentiality/independence considerations Benjamin Dzanic, from our recruiting team, will be guiding you through this process.
