What do we need?

Aspirion is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer who is looking for an opportunity to grow their skills and contribute to our continued success. The Business Intelligence Engineer will design, develop, document, and support business intelligence solutions that enable data analytics, reporting, and decision-making. In this role, you engage stakeholders at all levels with curiosity, empathy, and a desire to help them solve problems. You are a systematic thinker who understands the importance of a well-designed and well-documented data environment. You have knowledge of industry best practices in data architectures, data tools and can communicate well with the end-user community translating their needs into high performance designs.

What will you provide?

• Performs ETL/ELT and SQL coding using Azure Data Factory and Azure cloud-based solutions and downstream enablement in Power BI.
• Provide data engineering with functional and technical requirements to improve efficiency of data pipelines.
• Develop complex data models and design patterns for BI/Analytics reporting requirements.
• Design and develop scalable reporting, dashboards and data solutions using Power BI and DAX.
• Take part in requirements gathering, logical design, physical design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Provide best practices and guidance regarding the use of ELT/ETL, data modeling, and reporting deliverables.
• Help create and implement platforms, data warehouses/data marts, reporting mechanisms, and business modeling that will scale with the company's reporting capabilities.

Requirements

Professional Competencies

• Data Lake, Data Mart, Data Warehouse and ETL
• Writing and executing complex SQL and DAX queries
• Data modeling, dimensional modelling, and use of data modeling tools
• BI report design, development, and implementation
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Power BI, Azure Data Factory, Azure DevOps, and Git

Education and Experience Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in a quantitative discipline, such as Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or related field required
• 3 years of experience delivering ETL processes and data visualization tools, including extracting data from various sources, modeling, and analysis.
• MS Power BI preferred
• Azure ADF, DevOps, and Power Apps, and Power Automate experience preferred
• Healthcare revenue cycle experience preferred but not required
