Our business purpose is to restore health and improve quality of life by designing and providing device and management solutions for treating structural heart disease.

The Product Marketing Manager - TMTI is the core marketing owner and driver of the success for the MitraClip and TriClip product lines in the Structural Heart business unit. This role will report to the Director of US Marketing Structural Heart and will have primary marketing and budget responsibility for designated products.

The Product Marketing Manager – TMTI will focus on product marketing for MitraClip and TriClip, MR and TR and the various products within the U.S. This position will work closely with the sales team and be responsible for aspects of US strategy development plus Forecasting, Financial and Marketing Plan Development, Sales Materials and Training, Pricing, and Materials Management. The Product Manager shall maintain US product expertise for MitraClip and TriClip products/franchises, including market sizes/trend share, customer needs and targeting, product performance/benefits/weaknesses/positioning. This role will also provide on-going field support and will focus on growing market awareness for and related disease states, including new product launches. Success will be measured against sales and margin expectations, sales force competency/knowledge level and market image.

What You’ll Work On

  • Maintain worldwide market expertise and relative Structural Heart technologies, including in-depth knowledge of US competitor products and strategies, market trends and dynamics, market/franchise critical success factors, and customer needs.
  • Develop and create best in market product messaging and collaborate with global marketing and field team to market test messaging feasibility.  
  • Develop strategies to address product performance issues.
  • Develop and update annual marketing plans/strategies including market analysis, customer segmentation and targeting, product positioning, competitive assessments, and SWOT or other situation assessment.
  • Create and develop US specific strategies for new product launches.
  • Support launch readiness by developing product inventory timing, marketing programs, and working with communications manager to develop promotional collateral.
  • Take a leadership role on project teams to work closely with the project manager to drive accountability and team achievement of goals and milestones.
  • Manage creative agencies to plan, develop, and execute new US materials.
  • Partner with regulatory colleagues in the review and negotiation of materials to ensure competitiveness, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Develop plan & update US forecasts and justification for respective product lines worldwide and present to BU senior management.
