Gregory Construction, a Christian-principled, award-winning contractor, is seeking an experienced Field Superintendent to lead day-to-day field operations on heavy civil and mission critical construction projects across the Southeast. This role is key to ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to Gregoryβs high standards of quality and integrity.Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and supervise all onsite construction activities and field personnel.
- Coordinate daily/weekly schedules, subcontractors, material deliveries, and equipment.
- Partner with Project Managers to develop work plans, logistics, and safety strategies.
- Enforce safety protocols and maintain compliance with OSHA and company policies.
- Monitor quality control, field productivity, and job site progress.
- Assist with site layout and survey coordination as needed.
- Mentor and develop crew members while fostering a safety-first culture.
- Resolve field issues and keep projects on track through proactive communication.
- 10+ years of field construction experience, including 5+ years supervising heavy civil or mission critical projects.
- Prior experience as an Assistant Superintendent or Foreman on similar scopes.
- Strong knowledge of grading, paving, storm drainage, utilities, and concrete work.
- OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 and CPR/First Aid preferred.
- Ability to read plans and specifications, lead teams, and make sound field decisions.
- Willingness to travel frequently to job sites across the region.
