Job Description Summary:

The Senior Director Capacity Management Operations, functioning at an executive level, is responsible for overseeing system-wide capacity management functions, including the Transfer Center, Bed Management Team, System Capacity and Resource Center, Centralized Transportation Team, System Staffing Office, and Emergency Crisis Response Team. This role ensures effective planning, organization, and evaluation of resources to optimize patient flow, staffing, and capacity utilization across all OhioHealth care sites. The Senior Director collaborates with care site leaders to drive accountability, implement innovative solutions to capacity challenges, and align strategies with organizational growth and operational goals. This position is instrumental in integrating advanced technology, establishing robust Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and fostering cross-functional collaboration to ensure OhioHealth delivers efficient, high-quality care in a safe and sustainable manner.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors Prepared (BSN) Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Ohio.

  • BLS – Basic Life Support Certified.

  • Master’s degree in healthcare administration, nursing, business administration, or a related field.

  • 5 years in healthcare leadership or capacity management.

  • 3 years in healthcare operations, patient flow, or staffing management.

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:

  • Expertise in healthcare operations, capacity management, staffing optimization, and resource allocation.

  • Proficient in process improvement methodologies
