Production Team Leader I

Job Description

Stepan is seeking a Production Team Leader to join our Production team in Fieldsboro, New Jersey. In this role, you will report to the Production Superintendent.  In this role you will work Monday through Friday 2 pm to 10pm supervising the hourly workforce, clearing roadblocks and ensuring production meets customer orders.  This is a 24/7 chemical plant operation. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervisor the hourly workforce
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality and Engineering
• Focus the workforce on goals and objectives for continuous improvement
• Produce in spec material.
• Remove roadblocks and troubleshoot with Operator’s
• Promote, follow and enforce all EHSS procedures/policies.

 

Qualifications

Experience with working at a Union facility a plus.

Sefl directed and motivated.

Action oriented and great communication skills 

 

Education

Bachelor's degree preferred.

High School diploma

3 to 5 years of previous experience
