THE JOB:

As a Quick Service Restaurant Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for daily operations of multiple outlets, including Starbucks. You will also set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Review daily schedules and manage time off and vacation requests; coach and train on policies, procedures, and performance
• Supervise cashiers to ensure correct policies and procedures for check handling and closing are maintained by service staff as well as manage activities; means of access and egress, to ensure complete compliance with Health Department and Fire Marshall Regulations
• Directly communicate with the Chef on all food service and menu issues
• Assist in seasonal menu changes and holiday menu changes
• Order supplies through the IP System and Purchasing
• Exercise cost controls for all aspects of restaurant operation
• Manage pricing and maintenance issues to ensure checks can be processed correctly

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE:

• 2+ years of service experience in a high-volume similar dining environment, such as Starbucks
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent education experience
• Ability to work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU STAND OUT:

• Customer service skills in a food and beverage outlet
• 3+ Years of experience in a high-volume food and beverage environment
• Previous experience in a coffee house environment
• Previous experience in a supervisory food and beverage role
• Experience managing employees using a Collective Bargaining Agreement
• Great organization skills
