Job Description

As a SOC Analyst supporting our Customer Success team, you will be responsible for the post-sale technical customer journey. You will review security alerts, events and provide summaries and identify potential risk areas. You will also engage with customers providing technical overviews, trends, and review events of interest, ultimately yielding higher retention and increased account expansion opportunities.

You will serve as a strategic cybersecurity advisor for the customer, helping to drive value from current services and as needed, advising on additional or alternate services that align with the customer’s objectives. The SOC Analyst will also conduct security investigations with the customer and identify optimal configurations for security tools. 

You must be a fast learner, naturally curious, and able to dig deeper to find solutions to delight customers with a best-in-class experience. You also need a solid technical background that will aid you in answering technical and cyber security inquiries.

• Ability to investigate and evaluate network traffic, read and interpret security logs and packet captures

• Hands-on experience with networking 

• Familiarity with Operation Systems (Windows, Linux)

• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain customer relationships

• Ability to manage multiple projects and customer accounts simultaneously 

• Team player that is able to cultivate strong partnerships with Sales, Product Management, Engineering and Operations

• Previous experience with customer facing communication preferred.

• 1-3 years’ experience with SIEM, antivirus, Carbon Black, Palo Alto Cortex XDR, IDS, IPS and other security technologies.

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information security, related field, OR 2 + years of experience.
