- Full Time - Monday - Friday, Days and rotating Saturdays (once trained)

Position Summary:
CorsoCare Pharmacy is a growing business providing Pharmacy Services to residents in our Story Point, Independence Village and Leisure Living communities throughout Michigan. A Certified Pharmacy Technician will process and fill prescriptions in a closed-door pharmacy for residents while working under the direction of a pharmacist. This position requires excellent customer service, high attention to detail and dependability in order to meet the needs of our residents.
Required Experience:
- Active Pharmacy technician license in the state of Michigan
- Successful completion of pharmacy technician program
- Proven experience as pharmacy technician
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Excellent inventory control practices
- Ability to remain organized in high volume production
- Parata/TCGRx packaging experience desired, or willingness to learn
- Blister packing and heat sealer experience preferred
- High attention to detail and safety best practices
- Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Computer skills including prescription processing software
Primary Responsibilities:
- Process prescriptions electronically and ensure all information is complete and accurate (preferred experience with Framework Software)
- Resolve issues when they arise (e.g., rejected insurance claims)
- Select the appropriate medicine and measure dosages to fill prescriptions
