The ServiceNow Business Analyst will be responsible for the capture and implementation of requirements for ServiceNow. This role involves working closely with Stakeholders and IT teams to understand business requirements, translating them into acceptance criteria for development, and ensuring the effective implementation of those requirements into the ServiceNow platform. This role requires proven experience as a ServiceNow Business Analyst with a strong understanding of the ServiceNow processes and best practices.
What You Will Do:
Partner with stakeholders to:
Gather and define requirements representing the customer need.
Write User Story Acceptance Criteria based on analysis of business requirements and desired result.
Ask probing questions to ensure requirements are complete, aligned and technically feasible
Write clear Test Scripts, validate stories and assist with analysis and reporting of testing defects.
Work closely with architects and developers to ensure requirements are understood and solution designs are aligned with platform capabilities
Responsible for holistically understanding both the business and technical aspects of the ServiceNow platform modules.
May also be asked to write knowledge articles and documentation that describes features and functionality for technical and business users.
Other related duties as needed.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst.
2+ years’ experience in a supporting role in the ServiceNow Platform with experience with a variety of areas within the ServiceNow Platform
Skilled in interacting with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Stakeholders, Developers and RTX internal customers to define functional specifications that meet user requirements and are technically sound with excellent writing ability for producing concise and accurate user stories, acceptance criteria and process documentation.
Strong Excel and Visio Skills.
