PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT
To support Seedway’s plant production and sales program by monitoring production, assisting with production scheduling and verifying overall plant availability and quality.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Interact with Seedway management, Seedway financial department, sales representatives, greenhouse partners, customers and supplier representatives to insure accurate order entry and billing
Verify plant seeding dates, quantities, germination percentage and seedling quality; insure accurate production in JDE and related systems
Report and coordinate integration of over and under production with spot plant production
Identify and report any potential concerns or issues
Monitor overall partner plant productions and report any needs or availability to help level SowLogic production/demand
Oversee small grower plant scheduling and delivery
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS
Assist Seedway, Elizabethtown personnel with the SowLogic program as needed
Follows GROWMARK���s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply
Performs all other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
Normally 1 – 2 years or more of related work experience to demonstrate knowledge of professional communication skills, data entry proficiency, Quickbase and Microsoft Office programs.
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
Ability to travel independently and overnight as needed
Demonstrated essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development
Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position
