The Opportunity

As a dedicated Senior Talent Sourcer, you will be responsible for identifying, investigating and selecting direct and indirect sources for wealth management job candidate talent pools based on strategic business needs. You will create talent pipelines to ensure staffing needs are pro-actively positioned for current and future business requests. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain ongoing relationships and partnerships with hiring leaders, candidate pools, peer partners, and third-party vendors to deliver candidates for USAA's hiring needs.

We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week. This position can be based in Plano, TX. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

What you'll do:

  • Develops and executes sourcing strategies for professional and specialized roles, aligned with business priorities and workforce plans.
  • Partners with recruiters and hiring leaders to translate hiring needs into targeted actionable sourcing strategies for specialized and hard-to-fill roles. Ensures coordination with recruiter and smooth transitions throughout the hiring process.
  • Identifies and engages active and passive candidates using multi-channel sourcing strategies, techniques and research methodologies.
  • Aligns sourcing strategies with USAA's commitment to military talent by applying inclusive sourcing practices and partnering with the Military Talent team to identify and develop pipeline of military-affiliated candidates.
  • Builds and maintains diverse talent pipelines to support current and future hiring demand.
  • Utilizes ATS, CRM and AI enabled sourcing tools to track pipeline activity and optimize outcomes.
  • Provides market intelligence on talent availability, competitive trends, and candidate expectations to inform recruiting strategies.
  • Influences candidate experience through proactive engagement and effective communication.
  • Ensures compliance with all company policies, applicable employment laws and regulations, including OFCCP and EEO requirements.
  • Stays current on sourcing tools, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance sourcing effectiveness.
  • Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.

What you have:

  • Bachelor's degree; 4 additional years of related experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
  • 6 or more years' of experience talent sourcing.
  • Experience communicating employment value proposition, with emerging and passive talent audiences, to generate and champion interest.
  • Experience with advancing networking, candidate generation and passive/active sourcing methodologies.

  • Experience sourcing for licensed Wealth Management/Financial Advisor roles for a large financial services company.
  • Strong track record of building talent pipelines and sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill and niche positions.
  • Strong expertise in Boolean search, talent mapping, and proactive sourcing strategies to engage passive candidates.
  • Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS/CRM systems, and other sourcing tools to build and manage high-quality talent pipelines.
  • Ability to use market insights, sourcing data, and outreach metrics to improve pipeline quality and hiring outcomes.
  • US military experience through military service or a military spouse/domestic partner.

Compensation range: The salary range for this position is: $93,770 - $179,240
