Warehouse Associate

Overview

This position is responsible for supporting all warehouse functions including but limited to receiving, storing, handling, shipping, and preparing products for delivery while maintaining the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion.

A Warehouse Worker is responsible for varied daily tasks such as restocking shelves, accepting incoming orders, processing and packing orders, counting inventory and ensuring orders are shipped in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• The ability to coordinate, organize and planReceive equipment and materials that are delivered to the company by vendors, customers, and other external warehouses.
• Inspect incoming shipment for damage. After inspection and receipt of equipment, equipment to be put in its proper location in the warehouse. Properly and safely pick, pull, and load products for shipment.
• Drive vehicles (i.e., trucks, forklifts, and vans) for the purpose of transporting orders to designated sites.
• Utilize the appropriate safety equipment, maintain warehouse safety certifications, and attend safety training as required.
• Ensure the building grounds and warehouse are maintained in a clean, safe, and orderly manner.
• Examine incoming shipments for accuracy and evaluate damaged items.Taking photos of stored inventory and inventory as it is received.

 

Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following Skills and Abilities

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Must be able to lift up to at least 100 lbs.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities.
• Ability to work in hot and cold temperatures
