At Turner &amp; Townsend we’re passionate about making the difference, transforming performance on the world’s most impactful programmes.</p><p>Every day we help our major global clients deliver ambitious and highly technical projects, helping our people to realize their potential, and doing our part to create a green, inclusive and productive world.</p><p>This will be challenging but it’s our responsibility to make it happen together.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><p>Due to growth and ongoing delivery success with our clients, Turner &amp; Townsend's Cost Management division requires a suitably qualified and experienced Senior Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor to join our Natural Resources team on projects in the Benelux region.</p><p>Working within a friendly, professional and highly successful team, the ideal candidate will be self-motivated, driven and able to work independently as well as part of a team.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Collaborate and develop good relationships with clients and stakeholders internally and externally</li><li>Responsible for pre- and post-contract quantity surveying duties including preparation of cost estimates, procurement and tendering, contract administration, variation, final account, etc.</li><li>Estimating and cost planning to include producing and presenting the final cost plan</li><li>Tendering and procuring, including managing the pre-qualification stage, producing the tender list, putting the preliminaries together, tender analysis, producing the tender report and compiling the contractual documents.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>A recognized Degree Qualification</li><li>5+ years relevant work experience as a QS or Cost Manager ideally in a consultancy environment</li><li>Sector experience across renewables, oil &amp; gas or infrastructure</li><li>Highly motivated and driven with a passion for delivering to your clients and have the ability to work independently</li><li>Excellent command of written and spoken<strong> </strong>English with excellent report and bid writing skills</li><li>Candidates with the right to work in the Netherlands/ Europe are preferred.</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p><strong>What we offer you</strong></p><p>At Turner &amp; Townsend we want our people to succeed in both work and life, we promote a healthy, productive and flexible environment.
