Key Details:
Hybrid Program: This internship is a hybrid program based in Miami, Florida. Students must be available for the entire duration of the program and willing to work a hybrid schedule, combining both in-office and remote work. This is a full-time opportunity, with interns working 40 hours per week. While hours may vary, interns can expect to work from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday.
Relocation Support: Carnival provides housing for interns who are relocating to Miami for the summer.
Eligibility: Juniors, seniors, and graduate students are preferred for the program.
Technical Requirements: Interns will be provided with a company-issued laptop and will need reliable internet when working remotely.

Department Summary
The Entertainment – Production & Events team is responsible for creating engaging video content and supporting live broadcasts that enhance communication and training across Carnival Cruise Line. The team collaborates with both shoreside and shipboard operations to deliver high-quality visual media that supports internal initiatives and external brand messaging.
Internship Project Summary
Project Title: Video Production & Live Broadcast Support
Objective:
The intern will assist in the creation of video content and support live event broadcasts. This includes pre-production planning, administration, filming, editing, and post-production tasks.
Impact: The intern’s contributions will help streamline production workflow, help to generate new social media content for the brand’s social media platforms, enhance the quality of internal communications and content solutions, directly supporting Carnival’s brand.
Essential Functions (Key Responsibilities)
Assist in filming and editing video content from concept to screen.
Support live broadcasts and corporate events, including camera and audio setup.
Help manage digital content, scalability and tracking.
Participate in equipment setup and breakdown for events.
Assist with maintenance and upkeep of equipment inventory.
Collaborate with team members on creative problem-solving and technical troubleshooting.
