About the role

Job Description

The Marketing Manager for Aquaculture will have the opportunity to develop key messaging and content to effectively promote our industry leading Biopharma portfolio. Using mixed media, this post holder will be responsible for delivering a global message that informs farmers our solutions. In addition, they will develop content that aligns with our unified branding architecture and messaging structure to ensure customers understand how our company's Animal Health portfolio of aquaculture solutions enables them to monitor for insights, optimize with precision, and benchmark for performance. The Marketing Manager is part of a broader team that is also responsible for the launch of new solutions, and for producing marketing and communication plans that align with the strategy. Reporting to the Global Aqua Marketing Director for Aquaculture Biopharma, the post holder will be a member of our company's Animal Health Global Aqua Marketing Team.

Job Description:

  • Implement marketing activities at a global level.

  • Collaborate with regional marketing and communications colleagues to better understand customer needs for improved creation of global materials that are more aligned for local use.

  • Manage the Veeva PromoMats review process, inventory of materials, track changes and updates, and communicate with teams on new ads, materials added to the site.

  • Identify opportunities for aqua leads and thought leaders to present at key industry events.

  • Implement marketing initiatives, set benchmarks for tracking use of materials, leads to website, and present results on a quarterly basis. Revisiting upcoming quarter initiatives with supervisor to modify plans as needed.

  • Clearly communicate marketing initiatives so the team is ready to execute.

  • Lead relationships with key service providers, agencies, etc. as relating to marketing tasks.

  • Participate in, assist with coordination, and support sales team activity at tradeshows, conferences, sales tours, customer visits & workshops.

  • Work cross functionally with global marketing team and regions to support marketing efforts or activities.

  • Work with Technical Services team to develop content and campaigns for changes to existing technology or new discovered benefits from research studies.

  • Collaborate with marketing technology counterpart to stay abreast of their projects, customer insights, and opportunities for improved messaging.

  • Maintain content relevant for global aqua species website pages. Communicate updates to regions to ensure consistency in messaging across sites.

  • Generate ideas to increase engagement, inbound lead marketing from global efforts, opportunities to create Adword campaigns.

  • Champion new and innovative ways of working that embrace new technologies and business efficiencies to optimize marketing capabilities and our company's Animal Health Aqua species brand exposure.

  • Remain abreast of marketing trends and innovations to maximize innovative brand messaging techniques.

  • Create and review promotional material, and comply with all marketing approval processes, and legal, statutory, and corporate requirements.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related areas of study.

Required:

  • 3 years of marketing experience in pharmaceuticals, animal health or other relevant field.

  • Possess a can-do approach with a genuine desire to work with others in achieving desired outcomes.

  • Experience in supporting the building and implementation of marketing/brand initiatives.

  • Experience utilizing different communication platforms across multiple channels, including digital and social.

  • Ability to conduct market research and identify new positioning opportunities and gain insight as to where the industry is headed.

  • Understanding of how to use data to develop and track ROI on marketing campaigns.

  • Ability to manage marketing initiatives from concept to implementation in collaboration with other teams.

  • Personal resilience and ability to thrive and remain motivated through periods of change.

  • A proven track record of building marketing/brand plans and delivering campaigns in a fast-paced environment.

  • Computing skills: Microsoft 365 Office Programs

  • Ability to travel up to 25%

Preferred:

  • 2+ years of aquaculture experience preferred.
