Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

The Senior Accountant is responsible for maintaining a log of all journal entries and preparing themajority of the journal entries in the general ledger, reconciling all balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis, calculating andreconciling depreciation of all the fixed assets accounts, preparing bank reconciliation on a monthly basis, training newaccountants, and preparing annual work papers for year-end audits.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent2. One year of hospital/healthcare accounting/finance experience3. Proficient in business software applications4. Working knowledge of windows based personal computers5. Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and prioritization skills

Preferred qualifications:

1. Two or more years hospital/healthcare accounting/finance experience2. Current CPA3. Full cycle accounting experience

The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
