<p><br/> <span><span><b>At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world. </b></span></span></p> <h2><b>Job Overview</b></h2> <p>TE Connectivity's Supplier Development Teams find and develop suppliers to support the strategic sourcing organization in driving incremental performance in supplier quality, delivery, price and service. They teach new suppliers on how to work with TE (portal access, e-procurement tool usage, TE procedures, etc.). They extend TE Operational Advantage into the supply base to generate continuous improvement in the extended value stream, deliver incremental improvements through supplier development lead projects and achieve improvement targets specific for supplier development. They also help drive selection and development of the best total cost supply option in the region where the commodity or service is consumed. They keep abreast of emerging market options and inform the broader procurement organization of trends and new supply options.</p> <p>The Corporate SD Sr Manager assures execution of global and regional supplier development strategy according Corporate and BU Alignment needs<br/> The Corporate SD Sr Manager is integrated with the global SQ/SD Network and goals for one TEam support towards TEs Supply Base.<br/> The Corporate SD Sr. Manager supports and leads cross functional training and supplier workshops for cost improvement with his / her Corporate SD Team<br/> Corporate SD focus is on Center Led commodities strategic suppliers.</p> <h2>Why you should join:</h2> <p>Step into a new role, shape our strategy, and help us build a winning team from the ground up.</p> <h2>Your main tasks:</h2> <ul> <li>Owns Corporate global supplier development strategy and alignment with regional BU cross functional team leading the Corporate SD Team members</li> <li>Sets FY roadmap and targets for supplier improvements following the QCDTS Toolbox.</li> <li>Accountable for global supplier development cost improvement KPIs along with his/her Corporate SD Team members.</li> <li>Collaborates with CL commodity teams and COE team to identify opportunities and suppliers.</li> <li>Responsible for annual Scope 3 improvement metrics for Corporate SD all commodities.</li> <li>Assign the responsible Corporate SD Analyst to support technical workshops at suppliers for cost improvement in collaboration with BU Quality &amp; Procurement.</li> <li>Assign the responsible Corporate SD Analyst to provide technical support at suppliers including Process Improvement, TE BEST &amp; BIC processes, RTD and Scope 3.</li> <li>Coordinates Corporate New supplier onboarding process and is considered Training Expert.</li> <li>Reports functionally (dotted line) to the TE Director of Supplier Quality and Development</li> </ul> <h2><b>Your ideal background:</b></h2> <p> </p> <ul> <li>B.S. degree (or equivalent) in Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, or related field</li> <li>At least 5 years of professional experience in the relevant manufacturing technology. </li> <li>Knowledge on CQI related to their process of expertise.
