The Senior Manager, HR Business Partner - Fuel Manufacturing & I&C will be Accountable for HR leadership across the Nuclear Fuel Manufacturing  &, I&C Engineering organizations. Will provide end to end ownership of “HR offering” to the Business to ensure the organization and talent needs are met to deliver the strategic business plans. Meets deliverables through critical partnership with the broader HR Operations and COE team members, functioning as one HR team for the Global Operating Services (GOS) organization.

 

Your Day to Day:

  • Provides Global HR leadership via organizational design/development (OD) expertise; assessing the current and future talent and organizational capabilities needed to deliver the short and long term business plans. Leads strengths & gap identification, provides support to the business on workforce planning and closely partners for final roadmap development and execution. Includes focus on all growth and transformation initiatives required to deliver the business plan. Ensures organizational readiness through the Project management cycle for these initiatives. Accountable to ensure implementation of annual HR processes (Talent reviews, succession planning, performance calibration) Leads with a global mindset given footprint of all 3 GOS Divisions, critical to ensure collaborative partnership with BOPs in US and Country Partners in EMEA. Provides differential HR leadership through outstanding business acumen, ability to translate the org strategy based on business needs and challenges status quo thinking.
  • Leverages Westinghouse union relations strategy roadmap and provides ongoing thought leadership to central team to ensure we continue to develop and maintain a progressive, business ready workforce
  • Drive Manufacturing excellence through keen knowledge of modern manufacturing strategies Ie Lean, continuous improvement, TPS.  Develop mfg leadership pipeline and implement structure policy deployment across organization.
  • Owns the key development needs and actions plans for the organization. Actively drives strong succession planning and building bench strength across key roles in partnership with the GOS Leaders. Supports the organization growth and change plan with a readiness framework and outstanding communication focus at all levels
  • Owns building a culture strategy and operational roadmap for business, so we can attract, retain and develop the best available talent that mirrors our market and customer base

 

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related discipline
  • 10 plus years of progressive human resources professional experience     
  • Strong business acumen and problem solving skills needed. Must translate the global organizational and talent strategy needed from the short and long term business plans
  • Proven skills implementing global change via organizational design and development, solving for a business problem
  • Strong understanding of Technical talent profile and progressive employee relations. Ability to drive organizational change and growth with deep understanding of the business challenges in these areas
  • Must have demonstrated very strong influence skills and high bias for action and results. Critical  collaboration skills with accountability to deliver the entire “HR offering” in partnership with HR COE and Operations team members
  • Comfortable challenging status quo thinking and having the credibility to deliver results
  • Strong project management skills and ability to deal with ambiguity, large scale nature of org initiatives requiring complex stakeholder engagement and strong communication skills
  • Ability to build trust and influence change across all levels of the organization
