Job Description
- Responsible for facilitating systematic improvements in product/process variation for Sensor Element manufacturing.
- Provide guidance to department leadership regarding rolling top 5 project selection by using data sources to create RT5 pareto and tracking systems.
- Works with a high level of collaboration cross-functionally to drive improvements which reduce overall costs, specifically defect costs.
- Assume full responsibility for approach to structured problem solving and quick reaction to deviations.
- Responsible for articulating innovative and creative vision, and working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while handling multiple projects simultaneously.
- Provide coaching and guidance for problem solving methods to support ongoing improvement of manufacturing documentation and quality plans according to company standards (including PQIs, process control documentation, standard work instructions, reaction plans, etc).
- Support technical root cause/corrective actions for in-processing and post-processing manufacturing issues.
Qualifications
Indefinite U.S. work authorized individuals only. Future sponsorship for work authorization is unavailable.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Ceramic, or related technical field.
- 5-10+ years experience in automotive or industrial manufacturing.
- Working knowledge of AIAG or IATF/ISO standards.
- Preferred: Shainin RedX Master certification or Journeyman in process of certification. Demonstrated history of sustainable problem solving methods and leading with RT5 approach. SQL, PowerBi skills a plus. Sensor Element manufacturing experience a plus.
- Strong interpersonal, problem solving, and team-oriented skills; to include guidance with all levels of associates.
