Maintenance Generalist - 2nd Shift - Johnson Road Mill

Job Details:

-Sign on Bonus 5,000 to qualified Applicants -

$1,000 paid upon hire $1,500 paid at 90 days, $2,500 paid at 180 days.

-Sunday thru Thursday 2:00 p.m. -10:00p.m. (approximate)

Will be required to be On-Call or work additional shifts occasionally depending on production schedule.

-Pay - $21.85 per hour up to $31.45 per hour with a $2.00 per hour shift premium, starting wage based on skill set and experience.

 

 

 

• General Maintenance positions are responsible for keeping machinery running to maintain continuous production.
• You must be able to set up, adjust and break down production line machinery, be able to learn Tyson SAP software to make work orders and fill out the daily documentation that is required in the system.
• Must be able to read and write where required, must be able to use math as needed to make work related computations for machinery, fluid capacities, etc.
• Must be willing and able to lift, push, or carry up to 25 + lbs., must be able to stand, bend, reach over-head and twist for long periods of time, must be able to stand 10-12 hours a day on hard floors, climb fixed ladders, work in a hot, dusty, damp/cold environment, with a high concentration of allergens such as feed ingredient dust, etc.

 

 

Experience/history:

• minimum of 1-year related maintenance experience and/or technical certifications and working knowledge of electricity, power transmissions, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, cutting, and the use of shop tools preferred.
