ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Systems Engineer to join our team in Chantilly, VA.  As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will be instrumental in the successful delivery of secure, high-impact solutions vital to our government clients. Your contributions will directly enhance operational efficiency and data integrity, aligning with our commitment to innovation, quality, and mission success.
 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Own end-to-end delivery of our application, including serving as the bridge between users and the development team to ensure the delivered application meets or exceed customer requirements.
• Ensure that every release is robust, secure, and aligned with user requirements. This includes developing required project artifacts required for successful accreditation outcomes.
• Design, implement, and oversee a comprehensive testing strategy. This includes leading various testing phases (integration, system, performance, and user acceptance testing) to validate functionality and performance.
• Work closely with our cross-functional team, including software developers, test engineers, and project managers. You'll provide technical leadership and mentor junior team members, driving a culture of quality and accountability.

• Support the acceptance of completed development and testing activities by ensuring alignment with project objectives.

• Identify and define data elements required from external systems to support integration and operational needs.

• Develop and execute test approaches that validate the system is behaving in-line with established  policy expectations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors of Science degree in a technical field and 14+ years of systems engineering experience, or a Master’s degree and 7+ years of systems engineering experience.
• Professional experience working as part of an Agile software development team, contributing across all phases of the software development lifecycle, and building web applications in support of Government clients.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated expertise in establishing and managing requirements traceability using tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms.
