We are looking for a full-stack Senior Software Engineer to join our team at our Minneapolis headquarters. This is a key position directly responsible for contributing to the success of Calabrio products and overall organization. As a senior team member, you will help advance our software to the next level of quality by designing, implementing, and creating products that work in a web based, multi-tenant, secure cloud environment. We are looking for someone with strong Java, Cloud computing (AWS), Python, Data Management, and RESTful service, experience. You will collaborate with a team of software developers, Product Owner, Product Manager, UX Designers while innovating, and working in a dynamic and rewarding environment.

What you’ll be doing:

You will be working with people whose passion for creating outstanding software matches yours. As a member of the Research and Development team, you will be responsible for building the underlying architecture upon which the Calabrio ONE software suite is built including database access, APIs, and the interaction model for integration with 3rd party telephony solutions. Some of your other responsibilities will include the following:

• Design and develop high quality software and systems that are secure, multi-tenant, highly scalable, cost-effective, and rock solid.
• Take part in design and technical discussions with multiple teams to tackle new features and resolve software problems that arise.
• Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to your peers.

We’re looking for:

• Experience with Java.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (SQS, DynamoDB, Lambda, EC2) or other cloud services.
• Developing with source control managements tools such as Git and Bitbucket.
• Developing RESTful services.
• Experience with cloud DevOps practices such as Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD processes.
• Developing in a team environment using Azure DevOps services.
• Experience in collaboration tools such as Confluence, Lucidspark, Miro.
• Writing professional, documented, and tested code.
• Strong analytical and collaborative mindset.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 7+ years developing software with experience in all parts of the software development lifecycle.
• 3 or more years developing software with Java/J2EE with exposure to SQL/JDBC.
