What you will accomplish together with us:
Lead a team of 4 employees in the credit and collections department, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payments.
Perform credit and collections for assigned customer accounts.
Develop and implement credit policies and procedures to minimize risk and improve collections.
Analyze credit data and financial statements to assess creditworthiness and make informed decisions.
Prepare and present credit and collections reports to management, providing insights and recommendations.
Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve payment issues and improve customer relationships.
Handle escalated customer inquiries and disputes, providing solutions and maintaining positive relationships.
Provide training and enforce the use of template procedures.
Assist in the preparation of financial documentation for audits related to credit and collections.
Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned
What will convince us:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 5 years' experience in credit and collections or related financial roles
Ability to go onsite to the Bohemia, NY office at least 2 days a week
Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Compensation will be a base salary between $70,000- $80.000 plus bonus, depending on experience and skill set.
