Job Schedule: Full-time

We are seeking a Staffing Coordinator/CNA to join our community committed to delivering outstanding care to our residents through scheduling and staffing needs. As a Staffing Coordinator/CNA, you will play an important role in supporting staffing initiatives to promote the greatest care possible for the residents. What you’ll do:

  • Create schedules that meet the care needs of the residents as well as drive community initiatives.
  • Provide excellent customer service by anticipating staffing concerns and providing innovative solutions.
  • Ability to provide training related to Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s), intakes and outputs and other appropriate information on charts.
  • Provide continuous feedback to management related to staffing concerns and objectives.
  • Professionally intervene in resident disputes or disruptive behavior, if necessary, to maintain proper facility harmony and resident safety.
  • Perform other tasks in support of your team including: staff nursing station and answer phones as needed; assist in dining room with meal serving and feeding as needed; and work schedules, assignments and units as requested.
  • Follow the Buckner 5STARS of customer service and timely respond to requests for assistance or information.

What you’ll bring:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Current Texas Nurse Aide Certification.
  • Current CPR Certification.
  • Minimum one-year related staffing experience required
  • Minimum one -year related CNA experience preferred, or appropriate formal education or Buckner training.
  • Working knowledge of basic health care practices and procedures, including infection control.
  • A friendly attitude and a servant’s heart.
