About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer (Mobile) to ensure that our products and services are delivered with the highest quality standards. Platform services are api-driven and include authentication, billing, entitlements, notifications and more. Our stack is fully on AWS and utilizes serverless architecture with Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS/SNS, and API Gateway. We are agile, work quickly, and focus on outcomes. We trust our team to build the best solution to help us scale for the future.

Day to Day:

• Work on the architecture of automation solutions.
• Develop and maintain automated test suites while performing manual testing when necessary.
• Expand E2E automation test coverage and provide necessary support.
• Execute automated tests, analyze results, identify defects, and report findings to the team.
• Uphold QA best practices and contribute to driving the QA strategy.
• Work closely with developers and other QAs to troubleshoot and resolve issues, offering detailed bug reports.
• Monitor application health post-release.
• Continuously explore new testing tools and methodologies to enhance the QA process.

What you bring to the table:

• At least 6 years of commercial experience as an Automation Engineer.
• Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript for automation purposes.
• Extensive experience in constructing automated test frameworks, experience in analyzing and reporting.
• Hands-on experience in automated testing for Mobile applications.
• Proven track record for having successfully developed test automation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub or similar platforms.
• Upper-intermediate level of spoken and written English

It would be great if you also had:

• Experience with the Detox framework.
• Familiarity with TestRail and code coverage tools
• Familiarity with Playwright or similar JS frameworks (Cypress, Webdriver)
