The Opportunity
As a System Analyst within the Medical Devices R&D Solutions team, you will support and enhance critical applications and platforms used across R&D. This role offers the chance to collaborate with cross‑functional teams, support complex engineering environments, and contribute to the ongoing evolution of R&D technologies.
What You’ll Work On
Provide day‑to‑day support for R&D solutions, including issue resolution, operational coordination, and customer interaction
Deliver application and system support such as ServiceNow incident management, work orders, configuration, access administration, and routine maintenance
Configure and support specialized engineering systems, including CAD applications (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo Parametric, Creo View)
Assist with software packaging, deployment, updates, and support of specialized R&D computing environments
Evaluate business needs and recommend appropriate systems, applications, or process improvements
Research and assess alternative solutions to improve system performance, controls, and business capabilities
Follow standard system procedures, data verification processes, and testing practices; prepare and execute test cases
Ensure systems and processes meet applicable corporate, divisional, and quality standards
Coach and train users and team members; maintain and update application documentation
Monitor, guide, and coordinate the work of technical and packaging support resources
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
2–4 years of experience working in a quality systems environment
Knowledge of R&D hardware platforms including Windows, Unix/Linux, and Microsoft Azure
Experience collaborating across IT teams on software packaging, deployment, and R&D platform support
Strong documentation, organizational, and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with technical teams, business partners, and leadership
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment
Experience working in a highly matrixed, geographically distributed organization
Ability to meet on‑site attendance expectations per company policy
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting R&D applications related to Electrical or Mechanical CAD, Product Data Management (PDM), or Windchill CAD Vault
Experience with license server management
Experience supporting vendor management activities and software maintenance renewals
