Responsibilities
Peraton is looking for a Senior Manufacturing Electro-Mechanical Technician to work on site in Clinton, TN as part of our Remotec EOD robotics organization.
Overview:
The ideal candidate is excited to be part of the manufacturing team to produce EOD robotic systems and is a committed team player in successfully meeting manufacturing goals and quality. Experience with complex electro-mechanical assemblies and has the ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, and has an aptitude for troubleshooting and problem solving. The candidate is organized and completes assembly work in a timely manner with high quality outputs. Experienced in wiring assemblies for Andros EOD robots utilizing standards and procedures in place to ensure quality and completeness. Being willing and able to learn new things and take on additional roles/responsibilities is essential.
Day to Day Work Responsibilities:
Supervise Team Assembly:

- Oversee a team of electro-mechanical assemblers in the production of complex wiring harnesses, electrical terminations, and robotic system sub-assemblies.
- Ensure that all assemblies adhere to specifications provided in assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and work instructions.
- Drive quality, efficiency, and adherence to deadlines within the production team.
Training & Development:

- Provide hands-on training in areas of quality assurance, soldering, kitting, reading of assembly drawings, and advanced electro-mechanical assembly.
- Train team members on the use of specialized crimp tools and terminations, including DSUB, 1.5mm Samtec, and various Molex terminal crimper's.
Assembly & Installation:

- Perform installation and setup of electronic components within electro-mechanical sub-assemblies.
- Support troubleshooting, repair, and adjustments of robotic systems as needed.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent with 3 years of experience.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Experience wiring assemblies for Remotec Andros Unmanned Ground Systems.
- Experience with Global Shop Solutions software/Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics.
- Experience with electro-mechanical assembly, machine assembly, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with tools including hand tools, wire crimper's, strippers, and testing/measuring equipment.
- Experience with Cirrus Harness Testing Equipment.
- Basic computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Target Salary Range
