The Senior Group Risk Specialist within Operational Risk Management ("ORM") provides a comprehensive and diverse range of risk management expertise to business leaders. Leads and supports the implementation of appropriate risk frameworks and leading related management activities to mitigate enterprise and/or business-wide risk exposures. May provide oversight, commentary, and recommendations based on overall strategy and industry best practices.
This position will be focused on providing ORM oversight and challenge over the U.S. Wealth and Asset Management Businesses. This role will have high visibility within Risk Management and the Businesses in both the U.S. and Canada. Reporting to the Segment Risk Lead for U.S. Wealth, Epoch and Insured Deposit Account, the focus of the Senior Group Risk Specialist will include but not limited to the following:
- Actively involved in Change Management, including the execution of the Change Risk Assessments for projects/initiatives and integration activities. Including the Customer Delivery Transformation and Next Evolution of Work initiates.
- Provide oversight and challenge the Business in the execution of the following ORM Programs; End-to End RCSA's, QC Control testing, Scenario Analysis, Product Review Program, Key Indicators, Self-I.D issues and Change Management.
- Assist the SRL with the execution of ERM programs such as Risk Catalog Identification, Concentration Risk, Risk Appetite and Risk Acceptance.
- Primary lead on certain business projects.
- Represent ORM in various Business Committees whenever the SRL is unable to attend.
- Interact with various business partners, control partners and 2nd line risk partners in both the U.S. and Canada.
- Partner with other ORM Senior Group Risk Specialists, SRL's and 2nd Line Program Leads.
Our team currently operates under a hybrid work model, with employees expected to work in the office two days per week. Starting in November 2025, this expectation will increase to four days per week. Please note that, due to limited office space, the exact timing of this transition may vary depending on availability and individual circumstances.

- Recognized as top level expert within the company and requires significant in-depth and/or breadth of expertise in a complex field and knowledge of broader related areas

- Solves unique and ambiguous problems with broad impact; typically oversees standards, controls and operating methods that have significant financial and operational impact within the context of own field
