GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Responsible for scanning and coding all documents into patient’s charts. 


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Scan and code information in patient charts in proper order following department guidelines.
  • Keep scanning room organized
  • Other duties as assigned – ie distribute interoffice mail, postal meter and assist other departments

EDUCATION

  • High school diploma or GED

EXPERIENCE

  • Office experience; one year medical records experience preferred.
