Your Impact:
- Solve complex research and engineering problems, develop new products and technologies with emphasis on mechatronics.
- Planning, execution, and documentation of the project including conceptual design, part procurement, coding assembly, and lab/field testing.
- Work closely with the Global R&AE and Agronomy teams as well as Product Engineering to provide meaningful solutions for AGCO’s Crop Care Engineering teams.
- Provide technical guidance to product management, engineering and agronomy teams.
- Delivers proof of concepts to product engineering for further development and validation.
- Develops unique design features the company often patents to gain a competitive advantage.
- Support in-field activities such as data acquisition, testing procedures and training.
Your Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical Computer Science or Computer Engineering
- Proficient in programming languages, preferable C/C++ and Python
- Proficient in Bus systems (CAN, Ethernet, 100baseTX/100baseT1)
- Entry-level experience with embedded software development, preferably 2+yrs
- Entry-level experience with Linux application development
