Senior Full-Stack Developer (Automated restaurant system)

Company Description

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer adept at writing prototype code and testing various packages and frameworks in an iterative lifecycle. You will join a multidisciplinary team comprised of Chefs, Marketers, UX Designers, Fabricators, and Logistics Experts for a US-based company.  

The work will cover various workstreams, from an Automation (Robotics) Control System to a Supply Chain & Inventory Management System and up to a customer-facing next-generation ordering platform.

An early-stage, founder-funded startup from the USA.  

PROJECT
We are building a new model for sustainable and equitable restaurants, brining environmental and social justice to the fast food world. The project is a highly automated restaurant and cooking line system. 
 
This new restaurant concept is based on high-quality vegetable-based food, single-piece flow (no batch production), and a highly optimized supply system. These principles are in place to attain our goal of producing as little carbon as possible. 
 
The current team includes 28 members, including Full -Stack Developers, CSS Developers, Data Engineers, Business Analysts, Project Managers, and QA.

Job Description

• Design, develop, and maintain robust software applications using .NET 8 and Angular 17 
• Implement microservice event-driven architectures using DDD, CQRS, and event- sourcing principles 
• Integrate hardware components (robots, printers, scanners) over TCP 
• Utilize RabbitMQ and MassTransit for messaging and service orchestration 
• Leverage Azure Services, including Service Bus, App Service, API Gateway, and Entra ID for cloud-based solutions 
• Design and manage SQL databases using Entity Framework Core 
• Implement real-time communication features using SignalR 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features 
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge 
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process 

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of commercial experience in development with a focus on the specified technology stack 
• Strong proficiency in .NET 8 and Angular 17 
• Proven experience with microservice event-driven architecture, DDD, CQRS, and event sourcing 
• Experience with hardware integration over TCP (robots, printers, scanners) 
• Deep understanding of messaging systems (RabbitMQ, MassTransit) 
• Proficiency with Azure Services (Service Bus, App Service, API Gateway, Entra ID) 
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with Entity Framework Core 
• Experience with real-time communication technologies like SignalR 
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field 
• At least an Upper-Intermediate level of English
