Your team
You’ll be working in the IB Americas COO team in New York. The team focuses on wide-ranging matters relating to the IB’s Global Markets and Global Banking businesses in the region. As part of the IB COO Function, your team is responsible for a broad portfolio of activities centered around acting as a strategic enabler to the business, overseeing the integrity of the front to back control environment, interacting with regulators and managing the change portfolio. You will assist with implementation and development of key strategic and regulatory initiatives in the IB Americas region.
Your expertise
• extensive COO or equivalent experience in the United States in an Investment Bank
• highly collaborative with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• ability to interact with senior managers and exert influence on relatively complex subject matter
• proven problem solving, critical thinking, and organizational skills - high attention to detail is critical
• Preferred experience interacting with key regulators including FINMA, PRA, FRBNY, OCC and others
• experience overseeing business continuity plans
• confident and have good relationship building and interpersonal skills
• results orientated with a track record for delivering continuous improvement
• background marrying regulatory experience, technology, productivity or optimization and financial markets is ideal

Salary information
US Only: The expected salary range for this role is $235000 to $255000 based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, qualifications, education, location and skill level. Please see «Your role» section for detailed salary information.
