Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and reliable individual to join Trinity Village as a part-time Dishwasher (Utility Aide/Pot Washer). This role is vital in maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment and ensuring that residents and staff enjoy dining in an orderly setting.

Position Details

• Position: Dishwasher (Utility Aide/Pot Washer)
• Location: Trinity Village
• Hours: 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Evenings
• Pay: Starting at $12 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and sterilize pots, pans, and utensils according to health regulations.
• Ensure kitchen cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, and managing garbage disposal.
• Prepare and clean the staff dining room and serve meals to staff members.
• Check in food deliveries and store stock properly using rotation techniques.
• Maintain clean and organized storerooms, refrigerators, and freezers.
• Participate in in-service training sessions and follow established policies and safety standards.
• Remain courteous and tactful when interacting with residents, staff, and others.
• Perform other duties as necessary to ensure the orderly operation of the facility.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write effectively to complete assigned tasks.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Prior experience in a food service environment (preferred).

Working Conditions

• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to a minimum of 40 pounds.
• Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods of time (up to 9 hours).
• Must maintain personal hygiene in accordance with food service employee standards.
• Must be free from infections or diseases.
