Responsibilities

The LVN/LPN provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring clinical competence within the scope of practice in accordance with state requirements. In collaboration with the healthcare team, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), the LVN/LPN works to maintain safety, provide patient comfort and care and improve the overall patient experience in the Maternal Child Health setting.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

 

1. Current and valid state license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.2. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred3. BLS certification within 30 days and maintain current4. NRP certification within 90 days and maintain current5. Basic Fetal monitoring certificate required 60 days and maintain current
