Description

Aperture is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. This role will report directly to the FP&A Manager and play a key role in the preparation of financial reporting packages, KPI tracking, and ongoing data management. The ideal candidate will have strong Excel skills, experience with financial analysis, and a proactive mindset geared toward continuous improvement and data accuracy.

This is a high-impact position with visibility across departments, providing critical support in both recurring and ad hoc reporting needs.

 

Essential Functions

  • Monthly KPI Reporting: Assist in preparing and updating monthly key performance indicator (KPI) reports used for internal leadership.
  • Data File Management: Maintain and update key source data files on a monthly basis to support accurate and timely reporting.
  • Tableau Validation: Perform data validation and quality checks on Tableau dashboards to ensure consistency and integrity of visualized metrics.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis: Support business leaders with on-demand financial analysis, insights, and reporting as needed.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and automate reporting workflows for increased efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with other departments, including HR, Operations, and Accounting to ensure alignment and data consistency across systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a financial analysis, FP&A, or similar analytical role.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, dynamic formulas, and charts; familiarity with macros/VBA is a plus.
  • Exposure to data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a passion for data integrity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • The ability to sit at a desk up to 80% of the time
  • The ability to stand and walk up to 20% of the time
  • The ability to be confined in a small area, such as a cubicle
  • The ability to operate phones and computers
