Data Entry

Overview

Knowledge Services is hiring for a Data Entry Specialist.  This is a contract-to-hire role. This person will be required to work on-site in our client's office located on the southwest side of Indianapolis.

• $18 per hour, Monday-Friday
• Anticipated start date is March, 2025. 
• This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and experience in maintaining focus during repetitive tasks. State tax law knowledge is not required. Training will be provided.

Responsibilities

The contractual position in Data and Financial Processing is heavily based on computer and analytical skills, and a strong emphasis on accuracy. Team members are responsible for entering taxpayer data and information from current year tax forms into a high-speed system for processing. Employees key in what they see so that information is readily available for others to see in the system of record. It is imperative that the contractual is 10 key proficient as well typing. This is heavy date entry and the ability to sit and key for long periods of time is extensive.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• High attention to detail
• Ability to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing 
• Must be able to lift up to 25lbs, bend, sit, walk, and stand for long periods of time
