This posting is for multiple technology positions across various Teams in Southwest's Warrior Hire Program. The mission of the Warrior Hire Program is to recruit and hire transitioning Veterans and guide and support them through the beginning of their corporate career by providing them opportunities for professional growth, camaraderie, and mentorship. Review the information below to understand what each team does.Additional details:- Cybersecurity Engineering Enablement team: Partners with Technology Portfolio Teams to deliver on product capabilities for Identity Governance and Administration, Access Management, Privileged Access Management, and Directory Services. Ensures capabilities are reviewed and enabled for identity-related security patterns. This team prefers Candidates to have experience with AWS, Linux/ Windows Infrastructure, Bash scripting, BeanShell / Java, Agile/Kanban, and a security first mindset with fundamental concepts of IAM – like SSO, user life cycle management and access controls.
- Cloud Security team: Protects Southwest’s cloud environment by building and continuously improving upon an innovative Cloud Security Program that supports the entire enterprise. This team prefers Candidates to have experience with Agile/Scrum and AWS resources and services, including: Identity Center (IdC), Security Lake, Security Hub, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, GuardDuty, Inspector, Detective, Lambdas, and Athena; Gitlab, Terraform; Prisma; Trivy.

Responsibilities
- Provide security guidance to application and Partner Teams to remediate security vulnerabilities, risk items, and policy exceptions
- Deliver training for clients in use of the key Cybersecurity systems, and automated environments
- Responsible for immediate response to production program issues
- Partner with production testers to identify defects and complete testing
- Test and implement system enhancements using techniques that preserve system integrity
- Assist in maintaining systems and regular functionality
- Triage, research potential defects, and partner to prioritize repairs. Transition features to Business support
