Job Summary
The Senior Vice President (SVP) of IT Infrastructure, Cloud, and Enterprise Architecture is a key member of the IT executive leadership team, responsible for developing and executing the strategic roadmap for the organization’s global infrastructure, cloud platforms, and enterprise architecture. This role ensures scalable, secure, cost-efficient, and high-performing IT capabilities that enable business growth and innovation. The SVP brings deep expertise in cloud, digital transformation, cybersecurity, financial governance, and enterprise architecture to align IT with the long-term goals of the organization.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Strategy and Leadership
- Define and drive the vision and strategic direction for IT infrastructure, cloud operations, and enterprise architecture aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Lead the enterprise architecture function, ensuring integration of technology standards, interoperability, and long-term platform scalability.
- Serve as a strategic partner to business leaders, offering guidance on cloud economics, infrastructure optimization, security and IT modernization.
- Build and mentor high-performing teams across infrastructure, cloud engineering, architecture, and operations functions.
- Lead enterprise cloud adoption and architectural standardization initiatives to support digital transformation.
- Establishment of an enterprise architecture practice that delivers measurable alignment and value.
- Reduction in total cost of ownership and improved IT investment performance.
- Improved infrastructure reliability, scalability, and security.
Technology
- Oversee the design, deployment, and management of enterprise infrastructure including networks, storage, servers, data centers, and end-user platforms.
- Lead cloud governance and operational support across IaaS, PaaS, and hybrid environments (AWS, Azure).
- Champion automation, DevOps, AI adoptions and infrastructure-as-code practices to drive efficiency and consistency.
- Ensure robust operational controls, monitoring, performance management, and disaster recovery planning.
- Lead the development and governance of enterprise architecture standards, reference models, and solution blueprints.
- Ensure technology portfolios are optimized for flexibility, cost-efficiency, and strategic alignment.
- Drive technology rationalization and roadmap alignment across application, data, and infrastructure layers.
- Partner with the CISO to embed security principles into infrastructure and architecture strategies, including zero-trust models and secure cloud configuration.
- Ensure risk management practices are integrated into architecture and infrastructure planning.
- Maintain compliance with global regulations and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA).
- Manage multi-million-dollar global infrastructure and cloud budgets, with full accountability for financial performance.
- Collaborate with Finance to optimize IT spend, track ROI on major initiatives, and ensure transparency in financial planning and forecasting.
Qualifications & Requirements
Required
- 15+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including at least 7 years in senior/executive roles across infrastructure, cloud, or enterprise architecture.
- Proven success in leading large-scale global IT transformations, including cloud migrations and enterprise architecture modernization.
- Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), infrastructure technologies, and enterprise architecture frameworks
- Deep knowledge of cybersecurity principles, cloud security architectures, and compliance standards.
- Demonstrated financial acumen in managing IT budgets, forecasting, and driving cost optimization strategies.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proven experience managing global support teams, including a follow-the-sun model
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).

The Compensation range for this role is 270,000 to 295,000.00 USD annually and may be eligible for an annual bonus.
