Key Responsibilities / Duties:

• Functional Testing of Data Integration & Reporting solutions.
• E2E testing - from source data stores through to reports, including test data set up.
• Partner with the Product Owner to ensure suitable understanding of requirements and design testing strategies.
• Review acceptance criteria for user stories & ensure required test coverage.
• Own defect management lifecycle and collaborate with data engineers to troubleshoot and resolve data quality issues.
• Design & develop repeatable, automated test cases.
• Drive Test Driven Development practices.
• Drive Environments best practices.
• Own data delivery regression test pack.

Experience & Qualifications

Essential

• Background in functional testing with the ability to plan, design and execute test cases.
• Experience and knowledge in designing, developing, and executing test plans for ETL processes, data pipelines, and data warehousing solutions.
• Strong knowledge of testing data transformations, integrations and migrations.
• Understanding of data lineage audits.
• Experience of database technologies like Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL, Redshift, Databricks or other
• Experience of Agile software development practices.
• Proven diagnostic and debugging skills.
• Experience in writing SQL.
• Problem solving skills.

Desirable:

• Exposure to Test Automation
• Experience of Hands-On testing in the data space is a plus
