MES Team Lead

<p>     </p><h2><b>JOB DESCRIPTION:</b></h2><p><b><u>PURPOSE OF THE JOB: </u></b></p><p>The main responsibility of the MES Team Lead is to manage a team of MES Engineers, <span>in the planning, execution, and delivery of MES projects while ensuring compliance with Quality and Regulatory requirements. The MES Team Lead will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency and excellence and </span>ensuring the site delivers safe and effective products using our MES System that meet customer needs whilst maintaining compliance.</p><p><b><u>MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:</u></b></p><ul><li>Provide support on all activities related to the MES application onsite (POMsNet)</li><li>Partner with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, IT and Quality leaders to ensure efficient and effective MES site support.</li><li>Establish with the Sensor Engineering Manager and the site leadership team the goals, schedules, and timetables for MES activities.</li><li><span>Lead MES projects from initiation to completion, managing scope, schedule, and budget.</span></li><li><span>Validation of new recipes/changes to recipes and new machine integrations, configurations &amp; peripheral devices setups.</span></li><li><span>Coordinate with stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives.</span></li><li><span>Implement best practices and standards for MES implementation and validation.</span></li><li><span>Provide leadership and guidance to the MES team members, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.</span></li><li>Coach and Mentor, the MES team with an emphasis on continual operational improvements and employee development.</li><li>Work collaboratively with other sites and other functions within the division in developing and deploying best practices in relation to the MES system.</li><li>Ensure the department conducts its business in a manner designed to be protective of human health, safety, and the environment.</li><li>Responsible for compliance with applicable Site, Divisional and Corporate Policies and performing other duties as assigned by management.</li></ul><p><b><u>EDUCATION &amp; COMPETENCIES:</u></b></p><ul><li>Relevant third level qualification in a Computing, Science or Engineering discipline</li><li>5 years’ experience as an MES Recipe Author</li><li>Demonstrated experience in leading MES projects from Design to Qualification, including direct experience with MES validation and determining MES validation approach.</li><li><span>Strong understanding of MES systems, including electronic batch records, and production floor equipment integration. </span></li><li>Experience with ERP systems POMsNet preferable and integrations with applications such as SAP, OSI-PI, Kepware advantageous in addition to experience in Oracle Databases and SQL scripting.</li><li><span>Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage resources effectively </span><span>and problem-solving expertise.</span></li><li>Must have good interpersonal skills, position will involve a lot of interdepartmental interaction and coordination, <span>with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.</span></li><li><span>Strong communication skills to synthesize complex issues and communicate into simple messages.</span></li><li>Yellow/Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma</li><li>Proficiency with MS Office applications</li></ul><p>     </p><p><b>The base pay for this position is </b></p>N/A<p><span>In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.</span></p><p>     </p><h2><b>JOB FAMILY:</b></h2>Manufacturing<p>     </p><h2><b>DIVISION:</b></h2>ADC Diabetes Care<p>        </p><h2><b>LOCATION:</b></h2>Ireland &gt; Donegal Town : R267<p>     </p><h2><b>ADDITIONAL LOCATIONS:</b></h2><p>     </p><h2><b>WORK SHIFT:</b></h2>Ie - Dl39S8 (Ireland)<p>     </p><h2><b>TRAVEL:</b></h2>Not specified<p>     </p><h2><b>MEDICAL SURVEILLANCE:</b></h2>Not Applicable<p>     </p><h2><b>SIGNIFICANT WORK ACTIVITIES:</b></h2>Not Applicable<p>     </p><p>     </p><p>     </p>
