Middle School After School Team Staff

Latin Enrichment and After School Program (LEAP) is a new program of Latin 360 supporting Middle School students at Latin School of Chicago. We’re hiring 3 new staff members for this new program.

Each L.E.A.P. (Latin Enrichment and After School Program) team member is responsible for maintaining a safe, respectful, and organized environment during the transition period following school dismissal. This specific role focuses on ensuring that students transition promptly to their designated after-school activities, including the quiet homework room and the social room. The staff member will monitor hallways, verify student whereabouts, and float between spaces to support program consistency and safety. This role plays a key part in upholding Latin’s mission of “providing an environment that creates a life-long love of learning and supports students as they pursue their passions."

Positions available:

• Middle School 360 LEAP Team Member - Homework Space
• Middle School 360 LEAP Team Member - Social Space
• Middle School 360 LEAP Team Member - Floater

Hours:

Monday-Friday, 3:00pm-5:30pm

Compensation:

Pay begins at $17.00 per hour

• Must be at least age 18.
• Prior experience working with middle school students in an educational, recreational, or youth supervision setting
• Ability to manage groups of students with a balance of authority, empathy, and professionalism.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
• Must pass a background check and meet all school requirements for working with minors.
