Pay: $27.24 - $33.48/hour

Position Requirements: 

• 18 years of age or older 
• High School Diploma or GED Required 
• Standard computer / technology skills needed 
• Must be able to provide exceptional customer service to our clients and their guests 
• Must be responsible, accountable, objective, and have a strong work ethic 
• Must have a strong grasp of appropriate and professional verbal / written communication 
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus 
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner
• Must be comfortable with report writing 
• Must possess a valid driver’s license for state of assignment and insurable driving record 
• Must have a reliable means of communication and transportation 
• Work experience in the security industry, public service (police, fire), or military is desired 
• Must have 1 year of security experience and 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience 
• Must be able to complete all job duties indoors and outdoors. 
• Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers 
• Must successfully complete classroom and continuous on the job training as mandated by account and company management 
• Capable of learning a variety of security and safety devices and controls 
• Ability to track and maintain schedule assignment 
• Ability to maintain professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstances 
• Ability to act effectively without immediate supervision in making judgments regarding site policy and procedures in the absence of supervision, and to follow up on actions taken 
• Ability to write routine correspondence, including logs and reports 
• Ability to interact effectively at various social levels and across diverse cultures 
• Ability to take initiative and achieve results 
• Ability to adapt to changes in the external environment and organization

The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers. Some responsibilities may include:

• Maintain security and safety of the client’s premises
• Serve as a visible deterrent
• Prepare detailed and accurate reports
• Promptly respond to incidents
• Use technology devices
• Provide high level customer service
