Automotive Machine Shop Technician ~ Hammond, IN

                    
Our Auto Value store in Hammond, IN is currently seeking a person for an Automotive Machine Shop Technician.

The successful applicant will need past experience grinding crank shafts, and proven use and understanding of a micrometer.
 

This position also includes but not limited to:

•  Customer Satisfaction
•  Complete projects as assigned by manager.
•  Overall machine shop cleanliness.
•  Work with the Manager to better communications / service.
• Automotive mechanical expertise in engine teardown.
• Ability to follow direction; read and understand common danger placards/labels and hazardous warning literature including site safety plans
• Demonstrates commitment to reduce the risk of workplace accidents
• Must comply with local and company Health & Safety legislation, laws and policies

Schedule:

• Full time: 8 hour shift, Monday-Friday

Job Requirements:

• Must be at Least 18 Years of Age
• Pass Physical & Drug Screen
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 Pounds with Both Arms.
• Preferred Experience in an Automotive Machine Shop
